Terms of Service — Katsu Trim

These terms cover your use of Katsu Trim specifically. They apply in addition to the Katsu Digital Platform Terms of Service, which govern your account and subscription. By using Katsu Trim you agree to both.

1. What Katsu Trim does

Katsu Trim is an AI-powered video editing tool that automatically removes filler words, hesitations, and awkward pauses from your raw video footage. The service is operated by Katsu Digital.

2. Your content

You retain full ownership of all video content you upload to Katsu Trim. By uploading content you grant Katsu Digital a limited licence to process it solely for the purpose of delivering the editing service. This licence ends when your files are deleted, which happens automatically within 24 hours of processing.

3. Acceptable content

You must not upload content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, or that infringes the intellectual property rights of others. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and process any content you submit to Katsu Trim.

4. AI processing

Katsu Trim uses AI transcription to identify sections of your video to remove. While we aim for high accuracy, results may vary depending on audio quality, accent, background noise, and other factors. We do not guarantee that all filler words or pauses will be detected and removed, and we are not liable for any inaccuracies in the output.

5. Free tier limits

Free accounts are limited to 2 video uploads per month and videos up to 10 minutes in length. These limits may change at any time with reasonable notice. Upgrading to Katsu Trim Pro removes these limits.

6. Pro subscription

Katsu Trim Pro provides unlimited uploads, videos of any length, priority processing, custom filler word lists, and transcript download. Subscription terms including billing and cancellation are covered in the Katsu Digital Platform Terms of Service.

7. Service availability

We aim to keep Katsu Trim available at all times but processing times may vary depending on server load and video length. We are not liable for any losses resulting from processing delays or service interruptions.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Katsu Trim after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
